After MAJOR surgery a year ago, he is the same as before. Stubborn and Fearless.

I should put him into politics.

This reminds me of someone I know

This is a really tall and old Oak tree in my back yard...lost most of it's branches in ice storms over the years. It won't give up.

Anyone ever wonder what a Robin looks like less than an hour after busting out of the shell?

My woman is a Kentucky Woman...no doubt. She grew up around the horse farms close to Keeneland. Just a few moving shots taken while on an afternoon drive with her Mother...on Mother's day. Click 'em.

We need to get a larger / longer telephoto. Anyway, they're still not too bad.

I have 19 Azaleas in my yard. Red, white, pink, purple. I trim most of 'em back annually, but there are several I don't...I want to see how large they will grow. This one is about 6 feet tall and 8 feet wide.

Kind of scrappy looking...but still, that's a big Azalea.

Stretch gearing up for his 1st Kayak ride.

...the smallest of hounds is relentless. Just ask that huge ass chocolate Lab that lives behind us. I swear to the Maker, Stretch is fearless. He is also known on a first ,and second, name basis (middle name is Cornbread) at the gas station, the post office, the liquor store, the fresh market, and many other establishments around town, and throughout the neighborhood. He be the Catdaddy, and he knows it.

When I see people...they don't ask me how I'm doing, or how my woman is doing...they ask about Stretch.

As a friend of mine would say...Just Damn!

My backyard...great view to fire up some wings with Dr. Stretch's Habanero sauce. They were almost too hot to eat...gotta be careful with the Habies.

We got a little snow...about 6-8 inches...Stretch says fuck.....this.....how do you expect me to do my business in this stuff...I'm in deep.

He does have a point, so I had to clear some space. His belly keeps him from sinking all the way, so he looks like a car on jacks when he spins his legs.

I guess you had to be there.

I couldn't find my dog Stretch. I knew he had to be inside, but I couldn't find him. I looked everywhere. Finally I went into the laundry room and there he was. I have no idea how he got up there. He was jousting with me. Being owned by a Dachshund is quite amusing. One eternal game.

It was more difficult to get to the other side than you might think. My woman took this as I was thinking.

...cool air...cold water...we'll see what is on the other side...like it or not.

My woman and I often spend weekends at the beach

This is where we go...the Atlantic is about 500 feet behind my back. I took this shot from the deck outside of our bedroom. Damn sun sets in the wrong direction. Anyway, this is where I fall into oyster beds...sink boats...and stay up until the birds are chirping. Been known to play a little Chess as well.

I've been hanging out in this house since about 1980...how cool is that...even have a room with my name on it when I'm in town, and a garage to park my car in. This is where you can park your car when you arrive, and not start it until you leave. Everything is in walking distance. Everything. If not...take the boat...if it is floating. I kid you not, we've sunk the fucker before...more than once.

Point being...ain't nothing like a good game of chess.

This is what happened the last time I went fishing with my brother. We boated about 30...kept these in the live well for the photo, and then released 'em. These are some fairly nice fish.

My Bitch snapped this (inbound) as we were passing by doing about 100 mph. I have no idea what happened to the power lines and fence. Could've been a warning of things to come...memory gaps, or something. Hell if I know.

Fortunately for her / us, it wasn't as risky to travel under an American Passport back then. Anyway, we broke for cover and flew to Germany on the first available flight.

You might wonder why she was detained...I'll never tell, but I will say it was not drugs. She is quite resourceful, quite fast, able to think on her feet, and not afraid to take risks. Good person to have around,,,and she can also cook like you wouldn't believe...among other things.

I'm a lucky man.

I keep one of these handy at all times. Too big to conveniently conceal, but it has the Juju to take care of just about any situation...including large predators animals. You can throw it in a river...retrieve it a year later...and it will work.

I loves me a nice revolver.

This was taken a moment before I shot the one he just treed.

Notice, his paws are not touching the tree at all, he was trying to fly. It is very hard to get an instantaneous snap, due to shutter lag, with a digital camera, so, he was either on the way up or on the way down.

Point is: he can get higher.

...and I'm not talking about Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
